This is an energetic ,flowing, and at times ecstatic tribal dance. We will explore masculinity and femininity within the movement,stripping away layers of the outer shell to reveal truth within. WE dance together to : be witnessed to dance in an environment that is fun, safe, healing, sexy, exploratory and growthfull. to empty our minds ,so that we can get of our own way. Explore the dance of ourselves(the dance from within), the other and spirit and the sacred to find the point of inner silence.

Dawn Cherie Ezrahi is a teacher and a performer.  Her work is focused on women’s movement, ritual and empowerment. She is the co-founder of the school of love in Kabala, and of HaShevet spiritual community. Along with her husband Ohad she teaches the way of sacred relationships and spiritual growth. Dawn is an American living in Israel and teaching internationally. Prior to that she was living in NYC for many years where she was a professional actress and performer.

Ohad Ezrahi is a Neo-Kabalist spiritual teacher from Israel, an artist, a community leader and a perpetual student of life. His way is a deep School of Sacred Love. He is one of the most known figures in the spiritual world in Israel. Ohad was ordained by Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi as a Rabbi and a Spiritual Teacher. He was a scholar in residence in the University of Oregon for the “Science, Gender and the Sacred” research program. He is also the author of several books (amongst them “Who’s afraid of Lilith” \ “the Secret of Leviathan – Mytho-Psychological aspects in Jewish Thought” \ “Two Cherubs – the Erotic secret of the Jewish Temple” and more) and hundreds of articles in contemporary Kabalistic thought (currently all in Hebrew). With his wife Dawn he teaches and leads workshops and ceremonies in Israel, Europe and the Americas. .

Death and Love celebrations
of the Hebraic Kabalistic tradition

For thousands of years the full moon of August has been a sacred time in the Hebraic tradition. A celebration of Love and ecstasy that flows from the exploration of the dying process and a recorgnition of what’s in us that can never die.

The Radical-Kabalist teacher Rabbi Ohad Ezrahi from Israel and his partner Dawn Cherie,  founders of “The School for Love in Radical Kabala” are in Maui for a short visit, and are offering an open and egalitarian Shabat ceremony folowed by a day of experiential Radical Kabalistic teaching and practice.

Friday: 6:30pm to 10:30 pm an Ecstatic Shabat ceremony + pot luck feast. (the program will start at 7pm and will include Kabalistic teachings, devotional music, singing, chanting, story-telling, meditations and devotional dance).

Saturday: 10:30am to 6:30pm – the celebrations of Death & Love, a daylong workshop: Three two hour sessions of teaching and experimental work take you through the dyeing process to learn to live wide open AS Love and Freedom.

Following the ancient teaching on the energy of the August full moon, guided meditation will allow you to drop off all that needs to die in each of us. This is a careful and subtle process that breaks the heart open to explore the undoubted love force that’s alive in us all. Teaching and exercises, combined with meditation and movement will guide us to explore life and love from a different perspective – that of Radical Kabala.

There can be no peace on earth as long as there is war in our love relationships

The emergence of peaceful non-violent cultures is possible only when the struggle between the genders will come to an end for good. Women and Men ought to create places that invite the genders to meet each other in a new way, attentively and sensually. This will allow men and women to discover and see each other anew. They will follow the principles of polarity and completion, of erotic attraction and fulfillment. Sexuality will be anchored in spirituality, solidarity and the will to meet and learn. To do this, we must initiate and develop a new culture of cooperation between genders.

For over 30 years Sabine Lichtenfels has been working to create new models with men and women from all over the world, which together made a courageous decision to create peace in this fundamental issue of love and sexuality. They do it through identifying the sources of conflict and developing new social living systems, that allow love to be fulfilled. This fulfillment includes the attempts to release ourselves from the impact of related fears such as; the fear of lose, the fear of abandonment, or the fear of getting hurt. It is an attempt to put an end to the biggest human drama and to create communal life that is based on Trust, Transparency and Truth. These new models will bring to a significant change in the whole world.
The seminar is open for men and women, couples and singles, young and mature, Jews and Arabs to get familiar with Sabine Lichtenfels’s sources of knowledge and the rich experience of the Tamera community that researches and practices “love free of fear”.
